ABOUT

I love the expression “force of nature”.   I think about cycles, evaporation, respiration, erosion, gentle and violent forces at a moment of change. How forces intersect with our connection to place, our connection to our environment both built and natural is fascinating to me.

I work with brown paper bags as a ground, building up surfaces with paint, drawing, also wood, found materials,  clay, light, accident, intuition and shadows.

Beth and her family live in the Catskill Mountains.
